It is so hard to believe that around 3 short months ago the 7 Summer 2011 FWinterns first made their way to LA to be part of this crazy, inspiring, roller coaster of a lifestyle that is Falling Whistles. This week, 2 of us traveled back to Florida and New Mexico.  I knew coming out here that even though I would be living in one space with 7 people, getting along would not be a problem. We were all so different but we were all united by one burning passion and desire for peace in Congo. Sure enough, for the most part, that passion made being around each other nearly 24/7 not only possible but so much fun. From the first week of the impossible task that had us spray-painting into the early hours of the morning (see picture) to looking back and seeing how much each of us had grown last week, this summer was nothing short of memorable.  Addie, Kate, Laura, Michelle, Teddy, and Whitney or rather Mila, Stazy, Schmalls, Tbear, and Whit will travel with me wherever I go. I could not have asked for 6 more beautiful people to live with and learn from this summer. Y’all are amazing. Keep being the whistleblowers for peace that you are!  Love, Caitlin and the FWinterns
