Every accomplishment starts with a decision to try.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be sitting on a couch in a loft in Downtown Los Angeles, drying my eyes because a friend just sent an 8 message long text message - not saying goodbye.

I arrived in LA 3 months ago, terrified, incredibly jet lagged and completely blind to the road my life was about to go down. I took a risk because I felt a sense of urgency to be a part of something bigger then me. 

What began as a daily viewing of a vlog, turned into a purchase of a whistle, an application to become an intern, an acceptance letter, a 14 hour flight and the most exhilarating 3 months of my young life.  

Expecting to find an adventure, I found a family, a network and I new place to call home. It created a desire to never say die and a belief that I can and will accomplish everything I set out to. 

To the beautiful, incredible, talented people I had the pleasure of meeting through Falling Whistles I say thank you. This isn’t goodbye, but Hello to the incredible future we are creating. 

Don’t worry about the world coming to an end today.  It is already tomorrow in Australia… 

and there I will be, making sure the future doesn’t fall behind the past.
