Last night, after nearly two days of fierce fighting, we received word from one of our Congo partners. Bosco and his troops killed 2 boys and raped 12 girls being rehabilitated in Mweso with Falling Whistles’ funding. We are as outraged as we are devastated by this news. Something could have been done. Something should have been done. Nothing was done. But that’s for another day. Today is about 12 girls and 2 boys , forced into circles of violence in war that is not their own. The UN already has the jurisdiction to stop Bosco.
