Just like the Movies..
Kia ora friends,
If you wanted to learn something new, that is hello in Maori, New Zealand’s native language. So just to let you know, i’m giving up on the philosophical questions before I even get started, flag that. I mainly say that because I just watched The Warrior for the first time this week and I thoroughly enjoyed it, so I decided I wanted to somehow include it in my blog. But how am I supposed to come up with a philosophical question about that without sounding lame?

So here are the warriors, I liked this movie from the very beginning when they did an intro into the gangs, I loved all their gang get ups, they are so fantastic. Besides the amazing costumes, it’s a good old under dog story, all the odds stacked against them yet one by one they take down the rival gangs and reclaim their place within New York. I kind of feel like that’s us as whistleblowers, seriously a whistle? Peace in Congo? But whistle by whistle we are getting the message out there, under dogs taking on the big bad gangs. Ok so we’re not exactly like The Warriors but I really did just want to include them in my blog and it does kind of work..
If you could relate your life to a a movie or picture or something along those lines, what would it be? Are you the hero? Damsel in distress? You can be serious about it or not so serious, whatever floats your boat. Personally I would go for The Little Rascals but set in The Sound of Music, so that we can frolick through fields. I don’t kow how true this comparison is to my actual life but it does sound like a great mix up to me. Anyway let me know, you are all great!
Love to all of you!
