Men With Beards: Welcome to Men With Beards and... →
We LOVE this. It’s always encouraging to see new friends challenging themselves in new ways to join us in our fight toward a freer world. Keep up with their progress at menwithbeards10.tumblr.com!

Welcome to the official blog of Men With Beards! We are all SO excited to be doing this, and hope that through the information provided in our posts, y’all will get JUST as...
Get Up, Stand Up
We received this magazine in the office this week not knowing that within its pages, an article applauded the efforts of a team of young activists working towards peace in the Congo. US!
Sean told the Magazine that the first thing college students can do to help is buy a big, bold whistle.
By wearing it you’re asked about it all the time, you’re forced to become more articulate...

Jammin' with Youthjamz!
This weekend we piled into Brittany’s car and headed back to San Diego for a Youthjamz event put on by our friends Jenna, Noah, and their parents. The proceeds went to Falling Whistles and another organization called Rising Star. The day was filled with teenage boy bands, back up dancers, hand stand competitions, and some N’SYNC sing-alongs! We had a great time…and we were VIP....
Sequoia and I thought it was possible to eat a teaspoon of cinnamon.
It isn’t. Don’t try it.

"What's the plan, Phil!"
I had the distinct pleasure of viewing the season premiere of ABC’s Modern Family yesterday eve (Fwinterns are cableless and therefore any opportunity to be exposed to pop culture’s smallest of indulgences is a gift). Back for its second season and with a Best Comedy Emmy in its hand, the show returned full force, losing none of its funny factor or charming quality of connecting to...
Promtastic!
So today us FWinterns got to go to the senior (citizen) prom! We got invited to another Red Eye Inc. event at a retirement home and had such a great time. A 102 year old lady got crowned prom queen! We had been looking forward to it all weekend and spent a full day in San Diego scavenging through thrift stores for the perfect outfits. Ashley and I had way too much fun dressing up as old ladies...
Shake it up. Shake it out. Shake it down.
We were so excited to have the team back in Los Angeles, even if it was for one day as they continue their Peace is the New Frontier cross-country tour (info here: http://fallingwhistles.com/tour). With most of the Falling Whistles family in one spot, the office was super energized and even more amped about bringing the message of peace and freedom to listeners across the US. Hopefully...

Hey Y'all!
It’s about time that Falling Whistles got some south in their mouth.
My name is Andrew, sometimes lovingly/jokingly referred to as Andrew-Bobby or Amo, and I am the newest member of the FW Intern team. My roots are tied down in Lake Charles, LA but I consider myself an honorary citizen of New Orleans, where I attended Tulane University.
Having recently finished my stint as an...
Falling for Falling Whistles
Last week there was a different me sitting in this room. I thought I knew what I was getting myself into..but I realize now that i had no idea. The first day that we got here we met Sean and he told us about his journey to Africa, how he ended up in Congo, and how it changed the course of his life. I knew the gist of the story from reading it online but its a completely different situation when...

MY LIFE BE LIKE....
Hey! I’m Sequoia, one of the new Falling Whistles Interns. It has been exactly a week since Ashley and I joined the FW family and moved in to our apartment Downtown! Even though time is flying by, I can’t believe it’s only been a week because we’ve already had so many adventures and made tons of great friends. Im having the time of my life and loving every minute of being...

Zing!
Hello, hello.
I’m Ashley, a new fall intern. I’m from the wonderful state of Washington. Sushi, Lil Wayne, chatroulette, and ghost riding the whip are some things I enjoy. I lived on a boat for the past year, which people think is cool, but it’s really not that exciting.
It’s hard for me to describe exactly how I am feeling. I don’t know who I am going to meet in the next four...

Whoa.
This is an excerpt from my personal blog from June 5, 2010:
“New adventures, new sights, new friends, new love, new highs, new lows. Los Angeles, three weeks ago we were strangers. Now I feel like this is where I’ve been headed my whole life, where I was meant to be all along.
After these first three weeks, especially last night, I’ve learned that all you need to do in order to be...
